Business Ads And Social Media

With all of the businesses and companies that advertise everywhere you look, sometimes the last thing you want to see on your Facebook page or Twitter is a bunch of ad's posted daily from the same people. With so many of us being in business for ourselves we have to advertise what we do and social media is the place to do that now. How do you make sure you're not blowing up your friends and business contacts Facebook pages with ads constantly. I think it's ok to post about your business or interesting things that pertain to what we do, but 4 or 5 or 10 a day is too much. I think it's best to post something every few days or so, or even daily, just not every 2 hours. I'm still trying to figure this one out, but I think 1 ad a day is enough. I've had a home business (actually a couple) for 14 years  so I'm just going off of my own experience...

 Social media is the best thing to happen for small business promotion but don't over use it, and please remind me if I do so that I can check myself!!  ;)
